Until recently, studies done on the topic of depression in youth have primarily focused on treatment and outcomes. This study focuses instead on prevention and looks into the risk factors of depression in youth. This study finds that it is important to fully understand the risks of depression in youth as well as the factors that protect youth from succumbing to depression when developing preventative measures.
